Well the transfer window was an absolute shambles this time around wasn’t it, Reds?
Without wanting to harp on too much about what went on over the last few weeks in the transfer window we cannot deny that things simply did not go to plan.
We were linked with plenty of names throughout the month and whilst some were obviously a bit far-fetched, others did seem pretty plausible and must have had some substance.
Indeed, even if we had not been linked with particular names it would have still been good to see players come in and help our different challenges for silverware.
Anyway, what’s done is done and now we’ll have to see how the squad gets on in the remaining months – with our strikers needing to prove themselves.
It makes you wonder, though, perhaps we should have gone after these three forwards in earnest over the past few weeks…
