We need to play wider
The Reds have been narrow in recent weeks and that was part of the problem again tonight.
With Chelsea playing five at the back without the ball, going through the middle was never going to work but that’s all we could do. Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana both wanted to come inside and it’s only when Jordan Henderson switched the play for James Milner getting forward did we get the goal. It’s good we’ve got Sadio Mane back then.
