Mane our most important player?
Sadio Mane was our best player by a decent stretch as he tore Ben Davies apart relentlessly – especially in the first half.
He could have easily had more than the brace he managed as the Reds flooded forward and it begs the question – is he now a more important player to us than Philippe Coutinho? Certainly, he’s doing all the right things to suggest as such and it’ll be interesting to see how this individual battle goes on over the coming months.
