Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Reds midfielder Adam Lallana is set to miss six games through injury – a huge chunk of what is left of the season.

The Reds have found some form again of late and it could be the most perfect time to have done that.

We’re still in the top four and once we get Everton out of the way it’s a case of facing sides lower down the table.

Easier said than done, of course, with the way we’ve been in those games and having Lallana would have been a boost.

Indeed, he’ll be out for a while now, though, and so we can only hope when he returns we’ll still be in the top 4 mix.

Klopp told Sky Sports and was quoted by The Metro in saying:

“It’s hard for us, of course.

“How it is in this moment in the season, if you lose a player for three or four weeks, it’s around about eight games – or six or seven games. It’s a lot and it’s hard.”
