According to ClubCall, Jurgen Klopp is very keen on signing Riyad Mahrez in the summer window.
This, in all honesty, took us by surprise when we first came across it as there had been no real inkling of move at all in recent times.
Indeed, we’d be less surprised if it was someone like Demarai Gray given how he seems to fit FSG’s transfer policy more but nevertheless the Algerian is being linked.
Mahrez, of course, helped fire Leicester to the Premier League title last season as he was seen as the player of the year by many.
This campaign, though, has seen him drop off with his team-mates, even if they have made a recovery since Claudio Ranieri’s departure.
The winger, then, could still have that talent that got him a league title in his boots but, equally, this could also be a risk that could seriously back-fire.
