According to Globo Esporte, the Reds have launched a bid for young Santos talent Rodrygo.
The 17-year-old has already had comparisons drawn between him and former Santos favourite Neymar and so, whilst that is getting ahead of things at the moment, he must have a fair bit about him.
It’s thought the youngster isn’t sure about a move to England at this time, though, and so you get the feeling that should he come to Merseyside he’ll have plenty of adapting to do.
He may not feature for the first-team for a while, then, whilst the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino would have to help him settle in.
That’s all hypothetical at this stage, though, and it remains to be seen just whether this deal goes through with plenty still seemingly needing to be ironed out.
