The Reds concluded a shrunken fixture list this weekend in the Premier League as we played host to Burnley at Anfield on Sunday.
And, eventually, it was a good afternoon’s work as we came from behind to beat a well-organised Clarets side 2-1.
As always, on the back of a big win against one of the top sides, the talk was about how we’d fare against a ‘smaller club’ and it looked like it was going to be another one of those days that have really harmed our season.
Even so, we managed to get through it as we head towards another huge tie with Manchester City next weekend.
