It’s been revealed this week that Liverpool are looking into the potential signing of Danilo from Real Madrid in the summer.
Over in Italy, Calciomercato have reported that we’re keen on the Brazilian full-back with Juventus also meant to be interested ahead of a summer move.
This, naturally, caught our attention for a couple of reasons.
First of all because Danilo is a top talent and so to bring him in would be a real statement on our part as we look to re-establish ourselves at the top table of European football.
Secondly, though, it got us thinking about the battle that could ensue between him and Nathaniel Clyne and who we’d prefer to be down that right side of defence.
