Mahmoud Dahoud
Another young man that likes to pull the strings from deep is Dahoud.
He’s very much the player who makes the pass before the pass to score a goal and in many ways that is exactly what Alonso did. The Spaniard would provide Steven Gerrard who would find Fernando Torres and that kind of spine is only going to work. We’d be expecting a lot from our current crop to match that but getting Dahoud in wouldn’t be too bad a crack at it for starters.
