The Ryan Sessegnon transfer story has increased in popularity this week with The Daily Mail claiming that the Reds are in for the Fulham defender.
Sessegnon has been superb this season for the Whites at left back with him hugely impressing given that he is still years shy of his 20th birthday.
Certainly, then, he’ll only get better with age and would certainly be one worth having in our squad thanks to the fact that we’ve only got James Milner as a ‘recognised’ left back.
His manager Slavisa Jokanovic, though, has insisted that the young star will not be going anywhere from Craven Cottage this summer, and will be at the club next year.
As quoted by londonfootballnews.co.uk, he said:
“Sessegnon will not be in the transfer market in the summer.”
Pretty definitive stuff from the Fulham boss, then, though we’re still hoping that we can get Sessegnon in.
