According to goal.com, Napoli’s powerful centre-half Kalidou Koulibaly is of interest to Liverpool in the latest big transfer rumour to come to light.
Of course, we’ve seen plenty of names getting linked in recent times and that is to be expected with the summer window on the way and the club certainly needing some extra players ahead of next year.
Indeed, if we are in the Champions League next campaign we are in need of both quality and quantity when the window opens up for business.
Koulibaly, then, could be one of many to come in and he’d certainly strengthen our defence with him being a real unit at the back.
Certainly, his power alongside Joel Matip’s calmness and rangy style would prove to be a potentially brilliant pairing and so we’ll just have to wait and see if the Reds decide to try and pull this one off.
