We’ve been wearing smiles on our faces all weekend, it has to be said, after we put away Everton once again at Anfield.
It’s always a big fixture when we go head-to-head with that lot across Stanley Park and it’s always nice to see us continue our unbeaten run against them – particularly when they’ve resorted to kicking lumps out of us.
In the end, our class told and whilst Emre Can and Dejan Lovren got away without serious injuries, Sadio Mane did pick up a knock – though in more accidental circumstances.
Regardless, though, it’s once again highlighted our lack of options in the squad and we have to imagine that another flying winger will be coming through the doors in the summer.
So, with that in mind, here are two players we’d seriously consider…
