As quoted by The Express, Sam Allardyce has revealed that Mamadou Sakho’s injury is going to be enough to see him out for the rest of the season for Crystal Palace.
The French defender has, of course, been on loan at Selhurst Park since the January window and it appears as though he has played his last game for the Eagles in this spell at least.
For sure, the defender could go back there next season permanently with him clearly out of favour even now with Jurgen Klopp.
On his fitness, though, Sam Allardyce said:
“[There’s] not really [a chance of Sakho playing v Utd]. I don’t think so.
“It won’t be long enough to think he’ll be fit for Old Trafford.”
Manchester United away is Palace’s last game of the season with them still unsure of their Premier League status for next season.
