Jurgen Klopp – as quoted by The Telegraph – has delivered some brilliant news recently – that he is not going to sell Philippe Coutinho at any price this summer.
We’ve seen plenty of rumours over recent months suggesting that the tricky Brazilian is going to be leaving this summer and that, naturally, has had us worried.
Indeed, with us needing more players of his calibre than less, we undoubtedly need to keep hold of him for next season.
And it appears that we’re going to be able to keep him in red for 2017/18.
Klopp said:
“There are absolutely no plans [to sell him]. What our owners say is there is the absolute opportunity not to sell anybody if we do not want to.”
Certainly, then, that is news we are more than happy to hear and we’re now hoping other players come in to help bolster the squad ahead of the new campaign.
