According to goal.com, Liverpool are considering a move for Mohamed Salah as a potential contingency plan if a deal for Julian Brandt doesn’t go to plan.

The Reds, of course, have seen just how important it is to have players that can go wide this season.

Indeed, before Sadio Mane arrived we struggled to expand play and that is certainly what is happening at the moment with the winger out injured.

Time, then, surely for another wide player at least to come in and it seems as though Salah could be the one.

Indeed, if Brandt does not come the Roma man could be just as good an option with his experience with Roma serving him well.

Indeed, he has become a top-class player at the Italian side after a poor spell at Chelsea and he may fancy proving himself in the Premier League once again.
