It’s been claimed recently by Spanish outlet Sport that Philippe Coutinho is open to a move to Barcelona from Liverpool in the summer window.
Indeed, they go as far to say that the tricky Brazilian has agreed to move to the Nou Camp in the summer window and that all that remains to be sorted is the fee with Liverpool.
This, then, would obviously be a blow for us as there can be no over-estimation as to how important he is to our attacking style.
Even so, we’re going to remain hopeful that this is just pure speculation but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be thinking about a contingency plan.
