According to Sky Bet – via City Watch on Twitter – Liverpool are the favourites to sign Gael Clichy in the summer window.
The Reds, of course, have had a season without a recognised left back, in truth, with Alberto Moreno seeing midfielder James Milner play ahead of him.
This summer, then, the men from Anfield are surely going to need to get in a new left-sided defender and with the Frenchman Clichy available on a free this summer, he could be the man who comes in:

We’d have our reservations about such a move, though, with him enduring a tough season at City and evidently being deemed not good enough by Pep Guardiola.
