It would make most sense for us to go for a like for like and bring in a striker to replace Sturridge if he leaves.
Lacazette, then, seems to fit the bill in many ways and does seem like the kind of striker that will also want to move in the summer when the market opens. He’s looking for the next big step in his career and we could have a ready made position for him to take that leap.
