According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, Liverpool have made a bid of £25 million for Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski.
Of course, you may remember the Polish international’s name from last summer as we were linked with him but we couldn’t quite get a deal over the line.
Now, though, it looks as though we’re going to go for him again and so it remains to be seen if we manage to get a deal done.
Zielinski, at least, is the kind of player that we need in the sense that he is a box-to-box midfielder and so for the reported fee it might just be a punt worth taking.
Spurs are also thought to be keen, though, and so we might just see a battle rumble on before there is any agreement made.
