According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are willing to break their transfer record in order to sign Mo Salah from AS Roma.

This has been a deal touted for some time and in recent days it appears to have been edging nearer and nearer.

Indeed, all that has seemingly remained to be solved is the fee for the Egyptian winger but it appears as though the club is ready to fork out in order to bring him in.

His Italian side want more than £35 million for him and that, of course, would eclipse the fee we paid for Andy Carroll back in the January of 2011.

For sure, then, we’re hoping that Salah works out to be a better player for the Reds than Carroll and now all we can do is wait to see if this deal finally reaches a conclusion.
