According to The Express, Liverpool are ready to bring in £50 million rated Alexandre Lacazette with a meeting with the player’s representatives set to be met this week.
Many of us had probably expected this deal to fall by the wayside with Atletico Madrid looking likely to bring him in from Lyon.
They, though, have seen that deal thrown out of the window thanks to their transfer ban and so now the Reds might be able to get this one over the line.
Indeed, the report suggests that the club is going to hold talks with the player’s agents and so that could be a precursor to what would be a superb deal.
The French superstar scored 37 goals last season in all competitions and with that kind of fire power up front we think we’d become a real force across the board.
