According to The Mirror, Liverpool could replace Philippe Coutinho with Christian Pulisic of Dortmund.
The Reds have seen Coutinho get linked with Barcelona a fair bit over the last few days and some to think that a transfer could go through before too long.
For sure, then, the Reds need to have a back-up plan in place if the Brazilian does move and it appears as though they could back in for Pulisic – a man who has been linked with the Reds plenty of times before.
The American winger is highly fancied at the Bundesliga club and highly-rated around Europe so signing him would be a decent statement.
However, we’d prefer to see Coutinho in a red shirt next season more than the winger and so we hope that he stays put instead of heading to Spain.
