Though it’s early days in this season, the success of it really could depend partly on what happens tonight at Anfield against Hoffenheim.
Certainly, there is still plenty of football to be played this year but if we can beat the German side and get into the Champions League group stages we’re going to have the springboard for a potentially top season.
For sure, ending up out of it at this late stage would be a morale shattering blow so let’s hope the Reds can see this one over the line after beating Hoffenheim at their place last week.
