We toyed and toyed with this idea as it does seem a bit contrived but as is the form of many of our players, it’s one of the only possible solutions.
Moreno would come out of the side and the Reds would switch to a back three *gulp* with Joe Gomez or Trent Alexander-Arnold likely joining the usual centre half pairing we have. Then we’d go with a diamond in midfield with Coutinho in the central attacking role behind the forwards – we said it was contrived.
