According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Liverpool could be handed a boost in keeping Philippe Coutinho by Thiago’s situation at Bayern Munich right now.
The Reds have seen Coutinho linked for some time with Barcelona in La Liga and the Spanish side really upped their efforts in the summer.
That, of course, didn’t work and many are now expecting to them to come again in January or the summer, or even both.
We could, though, be helped out by world-class midfielder Thiago with him thought to be warming to the idea of returning to Barca – the club he really started to come through at.
Indeed, the Catalans probably feel it is time that they can get him back off of Bayern with Andres Iniesta getting on and that might leave Coutinho staying with us.
