According to Mundo Deportivo – via Sport Witness – Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has concerns about Barcelona ahead of any potential move to the club.
The Brazilian could have gone in the summer but the Reds held firm and kept hold of him but it is up for debate as to how long he will be at Anfield in the future.
For sure, there is evidently interest in him from Barca but the player is apparently worried that they do not want him as much as he would perhaps like.
There’s concerns about the wage structure at Barca, too, which the report suggests means that Coutinho does not want to take a pay-cut and so this potential deal has other obstacles to overcome other than the usual ones.
Certainly, we don’t think he’ll be going anywhere in January and so next summer it’ll probably all kick off again.
