According to Paul Joyce in the Times, Liverpool could be set to receive a £130m bid from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.
It’s the transfer story that just refuses to go away at the moment and it looks set to increase in frequency once more before the January window arrives.
Indeed, there is still nearly two months to go until the market opens up once again but the stories refuse to go away and so we’ll have to see if such money is offered in the mid-season window.
With it being in the middle of the campaign, though, we find it even harder to comprehend that the Reds will let him go with it probably near impossible to see who would come in.
If they did accept a bid, though, we’d have to act quickly to stop it disrupting our season.
