Liverpool were back in action last night as we faced West Brom at Anfield in the Premier League.
Festive football is truly here as the mid-week games come thick and fast as well as those games during the weekend in the top flight.
We were looking to bounce back from the frustrating draw with Everton last weekend, then, as the top four battle continued.
The first half did not really go as planned, though, as we ended up going into the break at 0-0 thanks to few real clear chances for both sides and neither converting.
Things picked up in the second 45, as chances came for both teams. But, really frustratingly, the Reds could not break through as chances were cleared off of the line and a goal was disallowed.
