Liverpool could be in another battle with old foes Manchester United before too long as we are both linked with Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal.
Vidal has not really cut it at Barcelona so far during his stay there for one reason or another and he could now be in line for a move to the Premier League and the north west in particular.
That is according to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, at least, who claim that the player’s agent has been in talks with both Liverpool and United over a deal.
Certainly, he’d be another attacking and quick player to have in the squad but we’re not sure whether we actually need another full-back.
Nathaniel Clyne will be back soon, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold are good young talents and then Andy Robertson and Alberto Moreno have both impressed.
