Liverpool remain linked with a plethora of players at the moment with the Philippe Coutinho money still swirling about the accounts right now.

One of the more prominent names, though, is Riyad Mahrez with the Premier League player being linked away from Leicester quite often.
It would appear, though, that the Reds have received a setback in trying to get the Algerian with Claude Puel suggesting he won’t be going anywhere in this window.
As quoted by the Leicester Mercury, Puel said:
“I have confidence in Riyad. We have spoken a lot with him about different things but often about football.
Let’s see, then, if those comments are accurate or if the Reds manage to get him this month anyway.
