Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is eyeing the final additions to his super-squad this summer as he seeks to push towards Premier League glory but a major blow looks to have been issued on the market.

The German manager is keen to upgrade his goalkeeping options, with neither Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius being up to scratch this season, and has set his sights firmly on the services of Roma’s Brazilian stopper Alisson.

However, Liverpool are not alone with their interest in the South American keeper as Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been attributed with an interest- and a major development has been stated by the European press.

Italian outletĀ Corriere Dello SportĀ state Roma will reject Liverpool’s advances due to their regret selling Mohamed Salah to the Merseyside outfit last summer, though they will accept offers from Real Madrid.

The report claims the Serie A giants fear a backlash from supporters if they do business with Liverpool once again, after seeing Salah excel in the Premier League and score 36 goals across all competitions this season.
