Liverpool face a big task this summer as they look to fill the final holes in their squad and push for Premier League glory, though not at the links involve reports that fans will be happy with.

The form of 36-goal sensation Mohamed Salah has attracted a wealth of interest, including that of Real Madrid, and reports this week stated the Spanish giants would look to make a move this summer- and may offer Lucas Vazquez in return.

Whilst the Spanish international is a decent player, he’s certainly not the same calibre as Salah and fans will be pleased to hear that the 26-year-old winger has no desire to leave the Santiago Bernabeu any time soon.

Speaking to Spanish radio station Onda CeroVazquez said:

“I think I’m at the sweetest moment with the most confidence since I came to Madrid, contributing to the team and getting good results. My dream has always been to play for Real Madrid. When they proposed to me it was like seeing a lifetime’s work rewarded.”

“I am very happy at Real Madrid, it is the team that formed me as a player and I hope I can stay for many years.”

Liverpool fans will be happy with those comments, as it increases their chances of retaining the signature of Salah.
