Liverpool boast one of the most incredible attacking lines in world football and it’s going to bean incredibly difficult task for someone to break the trio apart- but one Reds youngster is looking to do exactly that.
Wales international Harry Wilson has excelled on-loan with Hull City this season, stating he’s found confidence and is now looking to make an impact in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team ranks next season.
Targeting a breakthrough in this summer’s pre-season, Wilson told The Liverpool Echo of his plans to push his way into the first-team.
“My confidence is high, but that comes from playing minutes and the team doing well. It was what I wanted and, thankfully, I’ve been given the minutes I wanted here. I’ve come into a team that’s playing well and I’ve managed to chip in with a few goals and assists, which is even better.”
“I’m ready to go back to Liverpool in pre-season and try to stamp my mark on the team. Hopefully, I can get in it and, if not, who knows what the future holds? I was confident coming here and I just wanted to play with freedom.”
21-year-old Wilson has scored four goals in eight Championship appearances for Hull, whilst he scored his first goal for Wales in March’s international break.
