Serial Coupe de la Ligue champions Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and have already initiated contact with the player’s entourage, according to reports.

French outlet Le 10 Sport state the Ligue 1 champions elect have informed the Egyptian’s representatives that they are keen on bringing him to Paris this summer, despite the fact he only signed for Liverpool last year from Roma.

Salah has set Europe alight with his stunning performances at Anfield this season, scoring 38 goals across all competitions, and is hoping to fire Egypt to a stellar campaign in this summer’s World Cup- where they tackle Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and host nation Russia.

Whilst Liverpool are determined not to sell, PSG are eyeing a stunning swoop for the African Footballer of the Year and are said to be willing to offload Edinson Cavani for around £70m to help fund a move.

PSG’s plan is for Kylian Mbappe to replace Cavani through the middle, with Salah and Neymar then providing support from the wide areas- creating a devastating attacking trio.
