Liverpool are looking to bolster their side in the market this summer and are already set for one particular boost, with the Reds having negotiated a deal to bring Naby Keita in from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig last season.

An agreement was made with the German side to allow Keita to remain on the continent until the end of the campaign but Leipzig have encountered difficulties in their second campaign in the top-flight, sitting sixth in the table and on the verge of missing out on Champions League football.

However, the 23-year-old Guinea international has continued to catch the eye and his Leipzig team-mate Yussuf Poulsen has heaped praise on the talented midfielder, stating that the Reds will benefit from a ‘superb’ player.

Speaking to Omnisport, the Denmark international said:

“I think that most of the fans of Liverpool already watched him play. He is a superb player on a very high level. He shows what he can do with the ball even if it’s not going well for the team at this time.”

“His last goal against Hoffenheim where he fakes out three people. He hit the post and then the ball went in. There are not many players in the world who can do that kind of thing.”

“He is one of the few and not only the fans, but also his team-mates, should be looking forward to that.”
