Liverpool are on a high after reaching the Champions League semi-final, where they will lock horns with serial European champions Real Madrid, and Jurgen Klopp will be already considering improvements to his side for next season.

The Reds are looking to end their long wait for Premier League glory and want to knock Manchester City off the top of their perch in English football, which may lead to plenty of funds being splashed on the market to bolster the squad.

Ever since Klopp moved to Anfield, speculation has regularly linked him with stars from his former employers Borussia Dortmund and the name of United States international Christian Pulisic regularly appears in the back pages.

However, ESPN quote the Bundesliga giant’s sporting director Michael Zorc as telling German outlet Bild he is unaware of the proposed interest from the Champions League finalists.

“I am in constant exchange with Jurgen Klopp, but I am not aware of this.”

The 19-year-old ace is approaching his 100th appearance for Dortmund and has established himself as a key part of the club, as well as his national side.
