Liverpool have seen the services of Germany international Emre Can attract plenty of speculation this season, with it long being reported that the midfielder would leave Anfield at the end of his contract this summer.

Can has been reluctant to extend his deal with the Champions League semi-finalists, with Juventus being touted as the favourites to land his signature, but a significant u-turn could take place to see the World Cup hopeful remain at the club.

The SunĀ cite reports that suggest Can has been impressed with Liverpool’s performances in the second-half of the season, as they fight for a spot in the Champions League final, and could now commit to a new deal with Jurgen Klopp’s side.

On top of that, the 24-year-old is in-line to feature in the European final in Kiev, should Liverpool qualify, as he battles for fitness ahead of the campaign’s finale, having been sidelined with a back injury since March.

That would provide a timely boost for Liverpool, who have lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the season and have Adam Lallana also absent.
