Liverpool welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Anfield on Sunday for a crucial final-day Premier League clash, and Jurgen Klopp is expected to make two changes from the side that lost to Chelsea last time out.

The Reds fell to a damaging 1-0 loss to the Blues last weekend which saw them fail to secure their spot in next year’s Champions League.

A towering header from Olivier Giroud was the only goal of the game, with Liverpool now needing a point from their match with Brighton to secure a top-four place.

If they lose, then the Reds may be denied a spot in the top four if Chelsea manage to overcome Newcastle at St. James’ Park in what would be big blow for the club after a brilliant season.

Klopp is expected to stick with Loris Karius in goal against the Seagulls, with the only alteration in defence being the reversion of Trent Alexander-Arnold to right-back from an unfamiliar midfield role v Chelsea.

That is expected see Nathaniel Clyne drop out of the team in place of Jordan Henderson, who returns to midfield alongside James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum.

The other change is expected up front as speed demon Sadio Mane is an injury doubt for the game, with Danny Ings thought to be the man who will deputise in a rare start for the attacker.
