OPINION

This is great news for Liverpool. Despite reported interest from a number of huge European clubs, one of The Reds’ most promising young players has committed his future to the club, which proves how much Jurgen Klopp’s side have grown over the last few seasons. There was a time when the Merseyside club was essentially a feeder club for European giants, the likes of Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres, Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho all left for big money in the past. Now though, Anfield is a place where players want to come and challenge for the biggest honours, especially young players, as they’re given loads of opportunities in the first-team and can develop under the high-quality coaching team at the club. Brewster is a massive talent and if managed correctly, he could be the next home-grown talent to come through the ranks at Liverpool, along with the likes of Harry Wilson, Ben Woodburn and others. It’s an exciting time to be a Liverpool player, just imagine how exciting that is for the fans.
