A section of Liverpool fans have been getting excited on social media after a fan revealed what was said when she met Nabil Fekir.
Liverpool fan Noor Paterson posted from her official Twitter account that she had an interesting conversation with the Frenchman when they met, stating that she said: “Still waiting for you to join Liverpool,” with Fekir’s response being a laugh and: “Yeah yeah inshallah.”
Me: "Still waiting for you to join Liverpool."
Fekir: "*laughs* yeah yeah inshallah." https://t.co/UoHUlSziIn— Noor Patty (@NoorPatty) July 22, 2018
‘Inshallah’ is Arabic for ‘God Willing’, and is used in conversation in a way not dissimilar to ‘in time’ in English so could Fekir still be on his way to Anfield?
The 25-year-old was close to joining the Reds earlier this summer, but the deal collapsed after a medical, according to the Mirror.
One Liverpool fan said that he hopes the fan wasn’t joking when she asked the question.

Now that's cheered me up. May still happen then.

OPINION
The Liverpool fans are getting excited and so they should be, Nabil Fekir is a magnificent talent, but they shouldn’t get their hopes up. Reds fans lets get real, this transfer is extremely unlikely at this stage. It’s just not going to happen in this window, too much has gone on between the two clubs and although it’s been up and down all summer, the deal looks to be completely dead at the moment, regardless of what the Frenchman may, or may not, have said to a fan. They should forget about this and move on, they’ve brought in some great players in this transfer window and should be satisfied with the club’s business so far.
