It’s no surprise to see the Liverpool fans react in this way to Alisson’s performance in Liverpool’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday. Mohamed Salah got three of the goals, with Steve Cook scoring an own goal for the other, but the Brazilian excelled at the other end as the Reds managed to keep out Eddie Howe’s excellent side. He made a number of fine saves, including heading the ball away at one point as he used all means at his disposal to keep the Cherries out. The former Roma man has made a huge difference to this Liverpool team and that was evident once again at the Vitality Stadium. The visitors had some nice moments, particularly in the first half, but they never looked like getting past Liverpool’s phenomenal shot-stopper. He manned the posts with confidence throughout and is such a reassuring presence behind the Reds’ backline, leaving these fans to drool over another assured display.
