COMMENTARY
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is regularly on the end of criticism from fans and it’s easy to say that he is basically Marmite at the club. You either love the Reds’ current captain or you absolutely hate him. It seems the haters were louder on Twitter during the Reds’ clash with Burnley as several furiously tore into the player for his display with one even calling him one of the worst players they had ever witnessed. While Henderson clearly wasn’t fantastic against the Clarets on Wednesday, he can’t be the worst player that the fan in question had ever seen. Jurgen Klopp is no fool and obviously believes the 28-year-old plays an important role in the Reds’ team. At times last season the midfielder shone bright and people shouldn’t be so quick to write off his talents. While several Reds supporters were furious with the midfielder, it didn’t stop their side picking up another three points as they did beat Burnley 3-1 on Wednesday.
