Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be wise to start 18-year-old Rafael Camacho against Leicester City on Wednesday in a bid to solve his right back crisis.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are injured, while James Milner, who started at the position against Crystal Palace last time out, is suspended after being dismissed in that game.

That leaves Camacho and midfielder Fabinho as the most realistic options to start at Anfield, and Klopp must go for the more natural full back in Camacho.

That would then allow the Brazilian to continue in his central midfield role, where he has flourished in recent months. Camacho showed against Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month that he is up to the challenge of facing a Premier League side.

The other change that Klopp should make for Wednesday’s contest is bringing playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri in for the struggling Naby Keita.

Alisson is a dead ringer to start in goal, and will want to get back to normal after letting in three goals against Palace. Camacho and Andrew Robertson should line up in the full back positions.

Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk did fairly well against the Eagles, despite the madcap nature of the game, and deserve to start alongside one another once again.

As mentioned, Fabinho should continue in central midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Shaqiri set to join him in a three man unit. However, the Swiss will surely be given license to roam forward and create chances for the team’s three lethal attackers.

The aforementioned front three will almost definitely be Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
