If there is one thing that Liverpool are known for, it is the quality of the attacking talent that they have on their books.

However, that did not stop them from being in the hunt for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Dani Olmo in November, according to SPORT.

Olmo is a promising midfielder and he is currently on the radar of AC Milan according to Calcio Mercato, however, it is the Reds who must reignite their interest in him and win the race for his services in the summer.

The report states that the 20-year-old is one of the club’s best players, and that they value him at around £21.3 million (25 million euros) – a fee that the Reds would be more than able to afford.

They are already aware of his qualities after being interested a few months ago, although they will have to pull out the stops if the likes of AC Milan are keen on signing him in the summer.

He is only 20-years-old so it is likely that Liverpool would put him with the under-23s if they signed him, nevertheless, that is not such a bad thing if you look at how the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold have progressed through the ranks quickly.

If he can live up to the bill of being Zagreb’s best player, then he will have no trouble in making his debut for the first team very quickly.

The young ace has scored five goals in 30 appearances this season as well as providing seven assists, a figure which would no doubt improve if he was to move to a club like Liverpool.

Liverpool’s style of play would suit him down to the ground, and he would thrive in a more competitive environment like the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp would pull off a masterstroke by signing the young prospect, as he is definitely a star in the making.
