OPINION
No matter how well Jordan Henderson plays, the Liverpool midfielder always seems to be absolutely panned by some fans. In this case, a number of international football supporters have ripped into the ex-Sunderland star for his performance in England’s 5-0 win against Czech Republic. It was a super display by the Three Lions, who dominated pretty much the entire game. Henderson dictated the tempo from a deep-lying position, moved the ball on as he had to and did well when the Czech players were in possession. However, just because he’s not a player who is spraying about 40 yard passes like he’s playing FIFA, there are some fans who just have it in for him. Henderson is a great player and one that England are lucky to have. Liverpool are flying with him in the centre of their midfield and England reached a World Cup semi-final with him in their midfield. It’s time for these haters to realise that.
