Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson has enjoyed an excellent campaign for Liverpool this season and was once again in good form against Huddersfield Town on Friday winning the Man of the Match award, as the Reds strolled towards a crucial 5-0 victory. The Scotland international has provided the most assists from full-back in the Premier League this season, with 11 assists, with team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold recording the second most. Jurgen Klopp’s side have used the space they are afforded in wide positions, by opposing teams who sit narrow and deep to try and stop the Reds front three, to brilliant affect this season with Robertson and Alexander-Arnold pushing high up down their respective sides. There are few, if any, better crossers of the ball in the Premier League than Robertson, who again showed against Huddersfield that he is establishing himself as the best left-back in the league and one of the best in Europe. If Liverpool go onto claim the title, then Robertson’s impact on that achievement can not be overstated, he like most of the rest of his team-mates have been exceptional this season.
