OPINION
If Jurgen Klopp wants him, then so do most Liverpool fans. That’s the thinking behind these Liverpool supporters, who are delighted to see that Klopp has reportedly approached Wolves left-back Ruben Vinagre to see if he wants to move to Merseyside. According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, the Reds manager has asked the 19-year-old if he would like to “live in Liverpool” amid the Anfield club being interested in signing him up in the summer. It remains to be seen what Vinagre’s answer was, but the former Monaco left-back would definitely be a good addition for Liverpool in the summer with Alberto Moreno’s contract expiring. Andrew Robertson could be the only recognised left-back in the senior squad once Moreno goes, so replacing the Spaniard has to be one of Klopp’s top priorities in the next transfer window. Vinagre has done well in a back-up role at Molineux this season and he has shown that he has the potential to be one very good player in the future. Liverpool should definitely get the deal done if they can.
