OPINION
French football journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi wrote on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday that Liverpool are one of four teams interested in Benfica starlet Joao Felix, and that he will leave his club this summer. Unsurprisingly, the club’s supporters have reacted with huge excitement. Felix is one of the brightest up and coming talents in world football and has been tearing it up with Benfica over in Portugal. He is just 19 years of age, meaning that he has plenty of time to progress and get even better in the years to come. As one fan said, he’d be an investment as well as a signing that would help the team now. £104million is a lot of money to spend on a teenager, but you’d essentially be paying for the next 15 years of his career. Transfer fees have gone up exponentially in recent years and so this is just the sort of transfer fee that you need to spend to get a world class young talent like Felix. Obviously competition for him will be fierce but, clearly, if Liverpool manage to bring him in their supporters will be delighted.

@mohamedbouhafsi stating #LFC are interested in João Félix, whose buyout clause for €120m.
But at 19yo, he'd be a brilliant investment, with the potential to be a worldie.

If Joao Felix is the next big thing you’ll be stupid to think LFC won’t attempt to sign even if they have to use Moreno And Lallana’s arms and legs

Brandt, Ziyech, Felix, Fekir, Aouar, Fernandes.
One of these has to be at LFC this summer. I'd spend the lot on Felix.
