NBA superstar LeBron James has taken to social media to send a message to Liverpool fans after Mo Salah’s tweet playing football with his daughter went viral.
After the final whistle, Salah went onto the pitch with his daughter Makka, and played football alongside some of the other players and their families.
A video went viral showing the young girl scoring a goal at Anfield, right in front of the Kop, only for the Reds fans to react by going crazy as if it was Salah who’d just smashed one home in a real game.
The video caught the attention of one of the biggest names in sporting history, in the form of LeBron James.

An impressive season was topped off after the final whistle by fans and players joining in together for a kick-about on the Anfield turf, but it was Salah who stole the limelight – not Mo Salah, but Makka Salah. The Liverpool superstar’s daughter stepped up to score a goal, only to be met with a raw of support from the Reds faithful who were still lingering around at the stadium. The video seemed to create a feel-good factor for fans, certainly across social media, and none other than LeBron James had this same feeling on the matter. James went on to brand Liverpool fans as being the best in the world, which is huge compliment for a man who will have seen all kinds of fans, from all areas of the globe throughout his career. The basketball legend seemed to be full of joy after witnessing the Liverpool fans making the day of Makka Salah, even ending his tweet with the famous #YNWA hashtag.
