Liverpool targets Steven Bergwijn and Hirving Lozano have both expressed their desire to leave PSV Eindhoven in the summer according to De Telegraaf and Jurgen Klopp must make his move to secure at-least one of their signatures.

The Dutch publication claims that the two wingers are ready to leave Holland with both having previously being linked to Klopp’s side.

Bergwijn was reported by the Daily Star to have been targeted by both Liverpool and Manchester United in January with PSV wanting upwards of £30million for the 21-year-old who has already made his senior international debut.

Lozano was also being scouted by Liverpool in the winter window and De Telegraaf claims that the Dutch club will look to receive a combined total of up to £70million by selling their two stars in the summer.

It was clear in January that Klopp’s wish-list consisted of attacking options and the absence of both Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino has highlighted the need for reinforcements at Anfield.

The only current senior attacking options behind their marquee front three are Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri who have both made an impact for Liverpool this season but if they are to challenge in years to come, they must be in the market for better options.

Bergwijn offers electrifying pace and has had a great season in the Eredivise, being involved in 26 goals in his 31 appearances which make his £30million price-tag look like a bargain in this current market.

Alongside Bergwijn is fellow winger and Mexican international Hirving Lozano who has been involved in 28 goals from 30 appearances and would reportedly require any club to break the record in terms of a sale from PSV.

When you compare the available options at their title rivals Manchester City then you can come up with a reason as to why Liverpool are behind in the race. City have attacking brilliance not only in their starting XI but on the bench as well and if Klopp’s men are to challenge they need to spend more money on their forwards.

In order to consistently challenge for silverware in the years to come, Liverpool need to strengthen their attacking depth and Jurgen Klopp would be off to a perfect start if he attempts to secure to signature of either of these PSV stars who have set the Eredivisie alight this season.
